~May the Angels above shine down on us and make our lives just a little better..~

The song that you are hearing now is by Alabama.....

Margaret Dougherty became an Angel on 9-16-82, this women, shined like bright star... She touched the hearts of so many people, where there is sadness, in her passing, there is joy in her love of us still.... She was many things to everyone. She was the bond that made a family strong, in love, in hearts, in souls, and in peace. She led us to who we are, and our family beliefs... So to my Grandmother, I say Thankyou, and your love still burns, like the candle that you were.

~This poem, is in dedication to Margaret Dougherty, one of the most important people in my life...

~Granny~ A part of you has touched everyone, you have ever met... And to the grandchildren who aren't born yet... Your memory will be passed on to them... And everyone will remember when... You would sit and tell of stories from long ago... And the nights you would rock us to and fro... You gave a love that burned so strong and bright... It would carry us through the darkest night... You were there when everyone needed you... And you tried to be there when you needed us too... We know that where-ever you are~you are in peace... Please remember our love for you will never cease~... @}-----'-,-----K.Salfi

These are the lyrics to the song Elton John sang at Princess Diana's funeral Saturday. September, 6 1997.....

"Candle In The Wind"

"Goodbye England's rose, may you ever grow in our hearts. You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart. You called out to our country, and you whispered to those in pain. Now you belong to heaven, and the stars spell out your name. And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind: never fading with the sunset when the rain set in. And your footsteps will always fall here, along England's greenest hills; your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will. Loveliness we've lost; these empty days without your smile. This torch we'll always carry for our nation's golden child. And even though we try, the truth brings us to tears; all our words cannot express the joy you brought us through the years. Goodbye England's rose, from a country lost without your soul, who'll miss the wings of your compassion more than you'll ever know."
